Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Defines the test procedures that are used to determine the performance of bar code printing equipment. Also applies to equipment for the printing of other optically readable symbologies such as dot and matrix codes. Bar code printing systems are considered as integrated units, from receipt from a host computer or other device, or direct input of data and other information to the output of finished bar code symbols.
