Describes specifies the details for the materials, manufacture, testing, packing and in-service maintenance of 64 mm bore and 153 mm bore reinforced synthetic rubber hoses and hose assemblies, for Replenishment at Sea (RAS) as follows: 1) Type 1: 64 mm bore hose assembly for abeam RAS of potable water; 2) Type 2: 64 mm bore hose assembly for abeam RAS of Lubricating Oils Type OM 100 (Def Stan 91-25), OEP 80 (Def Stan 91-74), OMD 113 (Def Stan 91-22), Dieso Fuel F76 (DFM & MGO) (Def Stan 91-4) and Avcat F44 (JP5) (Def Stan 91-86); 3) Type 3: 153 mm bore hose assembly for abeam RAS of Dieso Fuel F76 (DFM & MGO) (Def Stan 91-4) and Avcat F44 (JP5) (Def Stan 91-86); 4) Type 4: 153 mm bore hose assembly for astern RAS (Lay on Deck) of Dieso Fuel F76 (DFM & MGO) (Def Stan 91-4); 5) Type 5: 153 mm bore wire reinforced hard-wall hose shall be used to connect between the probe receiver and the deck fitting (see note).
