This standard is included in DIN Handbook 315 and 315/2. Defines a method for establishment of noise-control performance for a family, type, group or sub-group of machinery or equipment on a noise-emission data basis. In principle it applies to all machinery or equipment with a noise test code or comparable noise- emission data.
