Proposes the adoption of IEC 947-7-2:1995 as an Australian Standard which applies to protective conductor terminal blocks with screw-type or screwless type clamping units primarily intended for industrial applications to form the electrical and mechanical connection between copper conductors and the fixing support and intended to be used in circuits of a rated voltage up to 1000 V a.c. up to 1000 Hz and up to 1500 V d.c. Copies of IEC 947-7-2:1995 may be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia office.
