This European Standard specifies the constructional and test requirements for hand-held and hand-operated electrostatic spray guns and associated apparatus used to spray painting and finishing materials which are not flammable, with respect to the protection against high voltage electric shock. Note: the requirements for electrostatic hand-held spray guns and associated apparatus which are only to be used for flammable spraying materials are covered in European standard EN 50 050
