A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

applies to transmitters, which have either a standard analogue electric current output signal or a standard pneumatic output signal in accordance with EN 60381-1 or EN 60382. The tests detailed herein may be applied to transmitters which have other output signals, provided that due allowance is made for such differences.
