Describes typical stay assemblies which are suitable for use with overhead lines of wood pole construction, and which range for 1v services to lines having operating voltages of up to and including 132kV. Also specifies the materials, dimensions, workmanship, minimum failing loads, method of test and, where relevant, electrical characteristics of the stay fittings comprising rods, concrete and wood blocks, wood brace blocks for 'H' poles, insulators, attachments and thimbles and factory formed fittings.
