References

Gives Telcordia's view of generic requirements for coaxial drop cable intended for outdoor use in aerial, underground and buried applications. Coaxial drop cable is constructed with a copper-clad steel center conductor insulated with a suitable polyolefin dielectric material. The satisfactory performance of a coaxial drop cable depends on electrical transmission, physical and environmental conditions, immunity from signal leakage at the wire and connector interface, corrosion-free conditions at the interface, etc.
