This specification establishes the requirements for a reusable metal shipping and storage container. The equipment herein referred to as the container, shall be a controlled breathing container for worldwide shipment, storage and handling. The containers shall provide both natural and induced environmental (water-vapor-proof and physical) protection for the prime item defined in 6.2 and its associated hardware.
