This specification covers the military service requirements for snap-action, non-teasable, positive-break and make, one-hole mounting toggle switches. These switches are intended for use in alternating current (ac) and direct current (dc) applications for dry circuit, low level, and power switching. The sealing characteristics covered by this specification include toggle sealed devices and environmentally sealed devices (see 6.1).
