    La présente Norme internationale spécifie des exigences de sécurité pour la conception et la construction des taille-haies portatifs à moteur thermique intégré, par la suite nommés taille-haies, conçus pour être utilisés par un opérateur pour tailler les haies et les arbustes, et comportant une ou plusieurs lames de coupe à mouvement linéaire alternatif. Elle spécifie également le mode de vérification de ces exigences.
