    La présente Partie 14 précise les spécifications particulières des câbles souples, de tension assignée jusqu'à et y compris 300/1500 V ayant une enveloppe isolante et une gaine avec des matériaux thermoplastiques sans halogène, câbles ayant un faible dégagement de fumée et de gaz corrosifs lors d'un incendie. Ces câbles sont destinés pour connecter les appareils domestiques à l'alimentation fixe. Tous les câbles doivent répondre aux prescriptions appropriées indiquées dans la Partie 1 du HD 21 et aux prescriptions particulières le concernant figurant dans la présente Partie 14. NOTE 1: Les dimensions extérieures des câbles dans cette partie du HD 21 ont été calculées conformément à la norme EN 60719. NOTE 2: Le faible dégagement de fumée est vérifié selon la EN 50268-2. Le faible dégagement de gaz corrosifs est vérifié et fait partie intégrante de la vérification de l'absence d'halogènes (voir Annexe C).
