    Behandelt sind die wesentlichen sicherheitstechnischen Anforderungen an die Konstruktion von Walzwerken für die Aufbereitung von Kautschuk und/oder Kunststoff. Es wurden alle vorhersehbaren spezifischen signifikanten Gefährdungen erfasst. Für Gefährdungen, die nicht behandelt sind, müssen die Maschinen - soweit zutreffend - EN 292 entsprechen. Die Norm gilt in erster Linie für Walzwerke, die nach dem Ausgabedatum der Norm hergestellt worden sind.
