Defines safety requirements for design and construction of screw type extruders for plastics and rubber. Also describes feeding systems and ancillary equipment forming part of or attached to the extruder. Applicable only to extruder heads for giving shape to the plasticized material. Applicable mainly to machines manufactured after the date of approval of this Standard.
