Annex A (normative) Procedures for the calculation of the
spectral characteristics of glass plates with a different
thickness and/or colour
Annex B (informative) Example of the calculation of the
colour rendering index
Annex C (informative) Bibliography
Defines procedures for determination of the luminous and solar characteristics of glazing in buildings. Can be used as a basis for lighting, heating and cooling calculations of rooms and allow comparison between different kinds of glazing. Applicable to both conventional and to absorbing or reflecting solar-control glazing, used as vertical or horizontal glazed apertures. Also gives the appropriate formulae for single, double and triple glazing.
