Applies to ceramic, glass ceramic, glass-mica and glass materials for electrical insulating uses. Classifies materials for general electrical insulating purposes, and shows typical numerical values for relevant characteristics in each subgroup or material type, as specified by methods of test in IEC 60672-2. These values are applicable only to specific test specimens and methods, and are not necessarily applicable to test specimens and other products of other shapes and dimensions of fabrication methods.
