This part of ISO 11290 specifies a horizontal method for ¾ðthe detection of L. monocytogenes;¾ðthe detection of Listeria spp.This part of ISO 11290 is applicable to:¾ðproducts intended for human consumption and for the feeding of animals;¾ðenvironmental samples in the area of food production and food handling.NOTECertain new Listeria species may not be detected or confirmed by this method (see references [4, 9, 11, 13]).
