The standard defines a chemical method of analysis for the determination of the content of siliceous or silicate aggregate of a mortar, the content of some chemical species characteristics solubilized by a bland acid attack and expressed as SiO2, CaO, MgO, Al2O3, Fe2O3, SO3, K2O, Na2O and to determine the loss of mass at various temperatures.
