A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Il metodo serve per la determinazione dei tempi di presa del calcestruzzo misurando la progressiva resistenza alla penetrazione (nel tempo) mediante un idoneo penetrometro. La resistenza alla penetrazione viene misurata sulla malta ottenuta, previa stacciatura del calcestruzzo in esame, con le modalità sotto specificate. Questo metodo è valido in quei casi in cui la malta separata dal calce struzzo pur essere rappresentativa del comportamento dell'intero calcestruzzo.
