Covers requirements when exposed to public, less than 2500 kVA with high-voltage not exceeding 38 kV(35-kV voltage class) and low-voltage not exceeding 17.2 kV(15-kV voltage class). Insulating liquids normally limited to those in ANSI/IEEE C57.12.00-1980. Overhead-type distribution transformers mounted in surface enclosure not included. Does not cover installations under control of electric utilities.
