This European Standard covers the evaluation of conformity and the factory production control of flat thermally toughened alkaline earth silicate safety glass for use in buildings. NOTE 1This also includes requirements subject to regulation. NOTE 2For glass products with electrical wiring or connections for e.g. alarm or heating purposes, this European Standard covers only wiring subject for electrical potential difference to earth less than 50 V a.c. or less than 75 V d.c.
