This Standard applies to non-automatic switchgear (switches) and related accessories for use in electronic systems for the home and building (HBES), with an operating voltage not exceeding 250 V in alternating current, and a rated current not exceeding 16 A, intended for installations in fixed electrical installations, both indoor and outdoor, and installations in associated peripheral electronic units.
