This European Standard specifies the requirements and tests for hot dip galvanized coatings applied to steel tubes for the following: a) gas and water including potable water installations; b) working scaffolds; c) structural applications. NOTE 1: This standard includes "pipe" and "hollow section". NOTE 2: galvanized coatings for fabricated steel tubes are specified in prEN 1029.
